Wilton Clark Obituary

Wilton Ray Clark age 67, a resident of the Slapout community, passed away on September 20th at his home after battling cancer surrounded by loved ones. Ray was preceded in death by his parents James Angus Lewis and Lela Mae Oates. Brothers Frankie Lewis and Jim Clark. Sister Mary Lewis. Ray loved working on lawnmowers and spending time in his shop where he enjoyed building things. He is survived by his long time partner of 40 years, Pat Carr who cared for him deeply and was always there. Sons James Clark(Tonya Clark), Billy Ray Clark, daughter Jenny Carr Vines(Harvey Vines). Brothers George Clark and John Lee Clark. Sisters Bertie Page, Florence Watson, Faye Burkhalter, Linda Lewis and Ann Jackson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends of the Slapout community. A celebration of life will be held at Swamp Creek Cemetery in Rockford(Coosa County).
