Wayne W Widen

Wayne W. Widen, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 07, 2025 at his home in Prattville, Alabama, surrounded by loved ones. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Alabama football and Purdue softball. 

Survived by his wife, Debra of 53 years. Children Melissa Cox (Casey) Faron Widen (Jennifer) grandchildren Chris Campbell (Alissa), Ashlynn Campbell, Kylie Spackman(Trey), Cole Cox, Kaitlyn Marlowe (Collin), Dalton Widen, Emily McCullough, Aaron McCullough. Great grandchildren Cash Campbell, Colten Marlowe, Kinsley Marlow, Ainslee Marlowe, Noah McCullough. Sibling sisters Kelly Kline and Sharon Chambers. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Walter R. Widen and Margaret J. Widen. 

Wayne will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the caregivers and staff of Baptist Hospice for their compassion and care in his last final days. 

Graveside service will be held at The Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama 35115 on Friday, October 17th. 2025 ~ 11:45am.
