Wansley J West

Mr. Wansley 'Jerome' West was born on January 28, 1951 in Greenville, Alabama.  Mr. West was the son of the late James West Jr. and late Willie Snyder West. He passed away on December 30, 2025 at the age of 74 years.

He is survived by his wife Janice Peterson West, his children: Derrick Bernard Peterson, Willie Peterson and (Shelia) Peace West, thirteen siblings; James West (Deceased), Robert West (Deceased), Venita West, Ouida Williams, Arthur West, Paula West, Juliette Longmire, Williette Minnifield, Remona West, Rene West (West), Brian West, Deloris (Donald) Daniels, Tonja West-Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives and friends.

Mr. West will be interred in Magnolia Cemetery at West Commerce Street, Greenville, AL 36037 on Monday, 11 January 2026 with blessings by Pastor Joe Thorington.
