Velma Kay Moore

Velma Kay Moore, a beloved resident of Reeltown AL, peacefully passed away on February 29, 2024 joining the Lord in eternal rest. A heartfelt memorial service will be held at Safe Harbor Outreach Center in Prattville, AL on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Kay's unwavering faith and joyful spirit will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Jimmy Doug Moore, and her dear sister, Linda Russell.

Kay is survived by her two devoted sons, Douglas Todd Moore (Nikki Moore) and Trenton Dwayne Moore (Kimberly Moore), as well as her three adoring grandchildren, Shyanne Moore, Brandon Moore, and Austin Moore. Additionally, she leaves behind a precious great-grandchild named Piper Monroe and her beloved nephew, Michael Stalnaker. Kay's life was filled with laughter, song, and delicious meals prepared with love. Above all, she exemplified unwavering trust in God, finding solace in His presence regardless of the circumstances. May her memory continue to inspire us all
