Travis E Harris

Travis Edward Harris, age 43, a resident of Ada, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 10, 2024. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date at the private cemetery on the Harris Family Farm.

Travis attended Saint James School and was a graduate with honors of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science & Business Administration (entrepreneurship & family business) degree.  He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epslion Fraternity and enjoyed Auburn sports.  He was a second generation owner of Bama Sash & Door and currently developing Pintala Preserve. He was an avid outdoorsmans who loved the Lord, being on the water and spending time with his friends and family.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Travis Griggs & Sheila Cauthen Harris; maternal grandparents, Hubie & Ciddie Cauthen; paternal grandparents, Morris Edward, Sr. & Benye Griggs Harris; uncle, Eddie Harris; aunt, Kay Cauthen Petry and cousin, Leigh Trotter Golson. 

He is survived by one sister, Brittany Ann Harris; one niece, Kylie Ann Cook; one nephew, Harris Mathew Walls and half-brother, Doug Sliger. Travis was loved by his cousins, extended family & many friends, along with his cat Ezell.
