Torey B Robinson, Sr.

Torey B. Robinson, Sr. was born to the late Phillip “Jerry” Robinson and Diane Robinson on September 6, 1987. Torey accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Shorter, Alabama. He received his early and secondary education from Deborah Cannon Wolfe Elementary School in Shorter, Al and Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, Al. Torey was always ecstatic about his first job with the Shorter Town Hall which he continuously talked about.

           Torey was preceded in death by his father Phillip “Jerry” Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memory two precious little boys whom he loved so much: Torey B. Robinson, Jr. and Bryson Grant Robinson (Tuskegee, AL.), a dedicated grandmother, Mary Melton (Tuskegee, AL.), who loved him unconditionally. A loving mother, Diane Robinson (Montgomery, AL.). One sister, Ta’Shuan Robinson (Montgomery, AL.) and one brother, TyQuan Robinson (Jasmine) of Tuskegee, AL.  Four nephews: TyQuavious Robinson, Quinton Coates, Jr., Messiah Phillips and TyKeem Robinson. Two Nieces: Ayjah Phelan and TyLeah Phillips. A loving life partner whom he commonly referred to as “My Wiiifeee” Brandi Grant, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, close-knit cousins and friends. 

               Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 - 1:00pm, New Mt Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, County Road 13, Shorter, Alabama, 36075.  Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2022 - 8am to 7pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
