Thomas Wayne Franklin, who was born on November 23, 1971, in Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully on May 07, 2026, with his mother by his side.
She, who was there when he took his first breath, was there when he took his last.
He is survived by his father, Stanley W. Franklin, his mother, Theresa B. Oliver Osbourn and stepfather, Charles Osbourn. His partner of twenty years, Anita Brockman.
His siblings, Christopher L. Franklin, sister, Stacy (Steve) Harris, sister, Shiela (Jeff) Hendon and Tesha (Jamie) Milam.
Wayne also leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish his memory.
His maternal grandparents, Thomas J. and Alpha S. Bryant Hollen, paternal grandparents Sam J. and Gladys J. Franklin, and his stepfather Grover, preceded him in death.
Wayne's only child, a fur baby named Sam, anxiously and joyfully awaited his arrival at Rainbow Bridge.
And while we will all miss him fiercely, we all have crazy stories and funny memories to share and laugh over.
Such as never being able to keep a car between the lines or calling Anita every day to go to the store for ice. Sometimes we could not understand a word he was saying and while he might have been the oldest, he's not getting a break - we'll take it from here and shall see to it that all of us laugh when we feel his absence with Wayne things.
So, shine on, we shall see you one day
