Tangela Renee Woods

Tangela Renee Woods was born on January 25, 1965 in Montgomery, Alabama to a loving and devoted mother Mrs. Jacqueline Woods Croley.  Renee’s journey ended on January 4, 2022 she would’ve been 57 years old this month, but our Heavenly Father saw that she had grown tired and called his sweet angel home to be with him.  We will be wishing our Lovely Big Sis a Happy Heavenly Birthday this year!

 At an early age, she confessed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and joined Timothy Chapel Baptist Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut where she served in the youth Choir.  

 She was always known to us as the “Cool Big Sister”, and to her friends a joy to be around, to hang out with and a blessing to have her as your friend.  She enjoyed being with her family and most of all spending quality time with her beloved poodle “Angel”.  To those who knew Renee, wherever she went, Angel was always right there by her side.  As sister’s she would always let you know she was the oldest, so when she would call you better answer your phone, or you were in trouble. 

Wonderful memories of her earthly life will be cherished by her only son Mr. Terrell Woods, (Kristie Johnson), her mother Mrs. Jaqueline Croley, Stepfather Mr. Robert Croley, her longtime friend Will, Sisters Patricia (Daryl) Rogers Montgomery, AL, Sophia (Reginald) McCloud, Montgomery, AL and Sharon (Richard) Jackson, Birmingham, Alabama.  Our dear sweet sister who preceded her in death, Belinda Ann Woods.  All her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly: Kimberly Woods, Demario Woods, Jamichael Woods, Jamario Woods, Alecia (Jerome) Bean, Brittney Woods, Daphney Woods, Reginald Woods. Great nieces and nephews: Ameria Woods, Ja’liyah Bean, Sa’Niyah Bean, Roman Woods and Arman Woods and a host of other relatives and devoted friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 - 11:00am at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services Chapel, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama, 36104.  Visitation is Friday, January 14, 2022 from 8am to 7pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services.
