Susan Marie Brown

BROWN, Susan Marie a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at her residence.  Susan was born to Donald and Lorraine Landroche in Warwick, Rhode Island.  She grew up in Coventry, RI and graduated from Boston Institute of Fine Art.  Susan experienced a successful career as a folk artist, and she lives on in the art that she has created over the course of her life.  

Susan was proceeded in death by her father, Donald Landroche.  She is survived by her mother, Lorraine Landroche, brother Donald Landroche (Dawn), sister Terry Collard (David), daughters, Audrey Oberdeen and Emily Brown, son in law Randy Oberdeen, granddaughters Christina Oberdeen and Naomi Rivera, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.

We will remember Susan as the strong willed, determined, and independent person she was.  Susan was passionate about things that mattered to her.  She loved her family, pretty things, cats, the beach, rock and roll music, and creating art.

Susan will be greatly missed by all the people who love her.
