SCHILLER, Stephen James, a resident of Montgomery, AL, formerly of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on November 16, 2025. Stephen and Gayle moved to Alabama to enjoy their retirement, spending time at the beaches, which they both shared a great love for.
He is survived by his wife Gayle (nee Richardet), his children Molly (Corey) Welsh, Matthew (Heather) Neff, Meghan Jackson, Stephanie (Jamie) Schiller, Emmy Brown, Chelsey Clifton, his grandchildren, Brian (Heather), Brandon (Haley), April (Ricky), Destinee, Desiree, Matilda, Savannah, Drew, and three great grandchildren. Steve lived a genuine life, renowned for his sense of humor, enjoying live music, art, playing his harmonica, and golf. He was proud to be a part of 5 generations of craftsmen, a legacy that lives on in his son-in-law and grandchildren. He found his true passion in his later years, driving a school bus for the Lindbergh School District. He will be remembered and missed by his family.
