DAVENPORT-GREY, Rosa M a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 in a Rehab facility in Prattville, Alabama. 

Mrs. Rosa M. Davenport Gray many knew her as “Net”, was born March 7, 1948 to the late Aaron & Alice Davenport in Montgomery, Alabama.

            On Monday June 28, 2021, Rosa completed her journey here and went to be with the Lord and Savior. Rosa confessed Christ at an early age and later joined True Divine Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the choir until her failing health prevented her from being an active member.

            Rosa leaves to cherish her memories to one son Marcello T Davenport of Pensacola, FL 2 grandsons Marcello Mcdade of Tampa, FL and Mantez Holmes of Montgomery, AL 1 granddaughter Sontia M Davenport of Mobile, AL 1 great grandson Jaiden Mcdade of Montgomery, AL 5 brothers Aaron (Norma) Davenport of Tuskegee, AL Johnny L. Davenport, Nathaniel (Brenda) Davenport, Larry (Katie) Davenport Sr., Joe Nathan (Lisa) Davenport 4 sisters Jeanita (Jackie Sr)Sumpter, Angelia (Kenny)Riley, Yevett Sankey all of Montgomery, AL and Pricella Jackson who preceded her in death of Detroit ,MI. Host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, July 03, 2021 - 11:00am at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens, 9504 US Hwy 331 South, Montgomery, Alabama, 36105.
