Robert Earl Rankin, Robert Earl Rankin, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away June 17, 2024. The son of Robert and Verlean Rankin, Robert grew up in Belzoni, Mississippi. He was born September 2, 1955. At the age of 18 Robert enlisted in the United States Army. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Specialist 4.
Robert is survived by his wife Sharon Rankin and children Roddriekiaus D.Rankin, Cashederia S. Rankin, Mariakius T. Evans, Milton Earl Everett, Robert Everett, Tanisha Dawn Johnson; two sisters: Mary Ann Scales, Mamie Deloise Rankin; six brothers; two preceded in death: William Charles Coleman and Leroy Jackson, Melvin Coleman, Johnny Rankin and Jerome Rankin and host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
