Robert Ervin Mallory (Bay), of Prattville went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 5, 2024 at the age of 85. Robert was a retired Lt. Colonel at the Montgomery Police Department where he served from 1971 to 1994. Prior to becoming a police officer, he served in the Navy Reserves for 2 years and the Marine Corps for 4 years.
Bay, as he was fondly known by everyone, was an avid motorcycle enthusiast most of his life. He had a passion for golfing, boating, camping and mostly loved doing anything outdoors. Bay’s Christian faith gave him peace and comfort as his health began to fail.
Bay is predeceased by his late wife of 53 years, Lorraine Robinson Mallory.
He is survived by his daughter Valerie (David) Everist, his grandchildren Mallory David Wadsworth, Madison (Byron) Medley, and great grandchildren Mikinzie, Owen, and Olivia Medley.
A service to celebrate Bay’s life will be held on March 19, 2024. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at 2:00 pm with the service to follow at 3:00 pm at Centerpoint Fellowship Church located at 1200 McQueen Smith Road, Prattville, AL 36066.
