Richard "Ricky" Earl Gandy

Richard (Ricky) Earl Gandy of Prattville Alabama, passed July 12, 2024. Born Dec 26, 1956 to Curtis and Lena Gandy, Ricky spent most of his life in Alabama, where followed in father's footsteps in loving his family, friends. Ricky loved Alabama Football and was an active athlete all through his life, and enjoyed watching sports and going to see Alabama games when he was younger. Ricky loved the outdoors, he loved hunting and fishing, going to the lake and ocean. He was a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and loyal friend. If you knew Ricky you knew his love for the Crimson Tide, and would never catch him without some Crimson Tide on!

Ricky is proceeded in death by his parents Curtis and Lena Gandy and brothers Curtis and Johnny Gandy.

He is survived by his daughter Misty Gandy-Moore, son in law Tom Moore, grandchildren Cole and Shelby, Brothers Jerry Gandy, Donald Gandy, sister, and many nieces and nephews.   In leu of flowers please donate to a local animal rescue to share in his love for dogs. 

Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 - 5:00pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Service Chapel, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
