Richard Allen Williamson, Jr.

Richard Allen Williamson, Jr. passed away April 24, 2023, after a battle with cancer.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arnold and Doris Williamson; maternal grandparents, Rexford and Marguerite Buffington; his father, Richard Allen Williamson, and his aunt Madolyn Buffington Johns.  He is survived by his wife, Ruth McInish Williamson, his children, Elizabeth, Ashley, and Richard; his mother, Norma Buffington Williamson; and his sister, Caroline Von Kessler.  Rich graduated from Memphis University School and then attended The University of Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and worked as a manager for the football team.  Rich served as a deacon for many years at Trinity Presbyterian Church where he and his family are members. 

A visitation will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, and a service will follow at 12:00.  In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to The Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama at 4145 Carmichael Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36106, or online at cancerwellnessfoundation.org or to Trinity Presbyterian Church.
