Reeda Kay McElwaney

Reeda Smith McElwaney was born May 11, 1951, in Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. McElwaney and both of her parents.

She is survived by her daughter Shaye M. Styron (Mickey), her two sons James C. McElwaney (Inez), John McElwaney (Allison). Grandchildren Michael Mosley (Natalie), Deidra Norwood (Adam), Katelyn McElwaney, Jayce McElwaney, Raelynn McElwaney, and Ansleigh, Caroline, and Mary Adair. Great Grandchildren; Braylei Hebert-Mosley, Bentley Norwood, and Skylar Mosley. With a host of loving cousins.

Reeda was known for being a talented craft maker and her love for Halloween and Christmas. She also loved daisy flowers, herbs and all things in a garden. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, animals, and friends who meant the world to her.

She will forever be remembered as a kind and caring woman who spent her life looking after others.

A celebration of life will be held at Reviving Ministries (near Hope Hull, Alabama) 40 Old McGehee Rd Montgomery, AL 36105 Saturday December 2, 2023, at 10 o clock in the morning. The family invites you to join.
