Pauline Fulton Judd (Pollyanna) passed away on February 1, 2025 in Montgomery, Alabama following an extended illness.
Pollyanna had a heart filled with gratitude and she loved her family. She graduated from Greenville High School in Butler County and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Huntingdon College in Montgomery. Following graduation, she worked on the IBM System/360 as a computer programmer. In 1970, she married James H. Judd Jr. and they went on to have three children. Pollyanna and Jim called Montgomery home for nearly 50 years. She cherished her role as wife and mother.
Pollyanna was preceded in death by her parents Jack Charles Fulton and Pauline Brown Fulton. She is survived by her husband James H. Judd Jr., her brother, John Charles Fulton, her children, James H. Judd III (Suzanne), David Patrick Judd, and Lisa Judd Glasscock (John), as well as granddaughters Robin and Sara.
Among her favorite memories were times spent repairing and maintaining her childhood home in Greenville. She also had great love for the people of Whitfield United Methodist Church where she was a member of United Methodist Women and the prayer shawl knitting group, among other ministries.
Her cremains will be scattered at a future date. There will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pollyanna’s memory to the charity of your choice.
