Obituary
Singleton, Ouida Carolyn (85) of Pike Road, Alabama passed away on Friday April 28,2023. Carolyn was born to her wonderful parents Rueben Lee and Lura Pauline Cox on February 5, 1938.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Arthur Singleton and her daughters Brenda Kay Singleton and Janet LeAnne Singleton.
She is survived by her brother John Cox (Janice), her sons Robert Timothy Singleton (widowed), Gary Douglas Singleton (Dawn), Spence Arthur Singleton as well as her grandchildren Tison Singleton, Caroline Singleton, Hilary Crawford, Madison Singleton Gould (Madison), Taylor Tylicki, Jake Singleton, Hayden Crawford, Madison Tylicki, and Brooke Singleton. Carolyn loved all children unconditionally and did her best to make every child she met feel loved. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family, including her many bonus children. With her children and grandchildren in sports and other activities, it was rare for her to miss a game, performance, or awards ceremony. She was a strong believer in her faith and in following the teachings of our Lord and Savior. Carolyn loved all animals, especially English Bulldogs and hummingbirds.
The family will be having a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn’s memory can be made to the Montgomery Humane Society.
