Obituary

Olivia Gomez, beloved daughter, friend, and family, bid farewell to this world on August 31, 2023, at the age of 40. She was a cherished resident of Prattville, Alabama, United States, who brought a smile to everyone who crossed her path.

Olivia is survived by her father, Bonner McCostlin (Debra McCostlin), Her dearest friend Annie Green, her sisters Tabitha Stephens, Kylie McCostlin, and Amber McCostlin, her aunt Roxanne Smith, her God Children Tamra Green, Tyler Noe, Tara Noe, Jacob Green, and Noah Green, cousins Stephanie Fleming (Robbie Fleming), Adrian Fleming, Victoria Smith, and Nikki Weedman, nephews Logan Stephens, and Samuel Stephens, and close neighbor David Rice. She is preceded in death by her mother, Tanya Moody.

Born on May 15, 1983, Olivia was a ray of sunshine from the start. Her infectious laughter and cheerful demeanor brightened up even the cloudiest days. She filled everyone’s hearts with pride and love.

Owning the title of the Waffle Queen, Olivia spent the latter years of her life hustling delicious breakfast food. From flipping fluffy waffles to slinging golden hash browns, she had the magic touch that left customers craving for more. Her secret ingredient? A sprinkle of happiness.

Olivia's talents extended far beyond the walls of the Waffle House, though. She had an unmatched talent for bringing people together. Whether it was organizing impromptu movie nights or planning epic parties, Olivia had an innate ability to create bonds and make everyone feel like family.

Her absence in our lives will undoubtedly be felt, but we find comfort in the countless memories she has left behind. From the heartwarming conversations at family dinners to the exciting road trips, Olivia's spirit of adventure and love will forever live on.

Although Olivia did not have any children of her own, she was a cherished aunt and godmother to numerous little ones. She always showered them with love, laughter, and countless memories that will last forever.

Olivia had an undeniable zest for life, and her carefree spirit will serve as a reminder to cherish every moment. Let us honor her memory by seizing the day and embracing life with the same joy and positivity that she radiated.

Rest in Peace, Olivia. You have undoubtedly found eternal happiness in heaven above. May your spirit forever dance in our hearts.
