Nathan Bruce George

Nathan Bruce George passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023. He was born on July 22, 1951 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe George and Evelyn George and brothers Wayne George, James Conley George, Danny George, Mark George, and Roger George. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Debbie George; sons Michael George (Denise) and Geoffrey George; grandson Tristan George; brother Ed George (Sherry), sister Peggy Turner and many nieces and nephews.

Bruce enjoyed sports and played softball for many years. He never missed watching Auburn football and basketball and Braves baseball games.

 Bruce also loved music and played guitar and sang in many bands including: Cruisin, The George Brothers Band, and The Shouting Stones.

 There will be a memorial service for Bruce on July 29th at 10:30 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 8790 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, AL 36117.

 Donations in his name may be made to Immanuel Presbyterian Church or The Montgomery Humane Society.
