BRAMBLETT, Michelle Evans 53, died Friday, June 9, at Baptist Hospital Montgomery, after a lengthy illness. Michelle was born August 25, 1969, to Phyllis Jean Evans and Floyd Kenneth Evans. After Michelle graduated from Prattville High School in 1987, she went on to study Early Childhood Education at Auburn University and Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated in 1991.
After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education, Michelle began a career as Research Supervisor with the Southern Poverty Law Center and after 24 years went on to teach 4th grade at Autauga Academy. She was also an invaluable asset to the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police.
In 1987, Michelle met Adrian Bramblett in Montgomery and they were married November 25, 1989. They welcomed daughter Emma in August 2008.
Michelle enjoyed playing games with family and friends, working jigsaw puzzles and was an especially avid foodie and traveler; particularly cruising. She loved finding new destinations and or enjoyed planning activities for all who joined in her travels.
Michelle is survived by her husband Adrian and daughter Emma; her mother Jean Evans and brothers Anthony Evans, Chris Evans (Lana) and Dave Evans (Jo) as well as a large host of friends and family who were very dear to her. She was predeceased by her father, Floyd Kenneth Evans.
A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prattville, AL on Monday, June 19, 2023. Visitation will be at 1 pm with the service to follow at 2 pm.
