Michael Anthony Luna was born in San Francisco, California on July 6, 1939, to Michael Albert Luna and Frances Beltran. He died on November 1, 2023, after a lengthy illness.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sherry Hendrix Luna and his beloved children and grandchildren of his heart, Amanda Hendrix Haley, Jonathan c. Hendrix, Lily Grace Hendrix and Micah Edward Haley.
He is also survived by his sisters Peggy Pannighetti and Kelly Devinny, Brother Roger (Pat) Luna. Two of his siblings predeceased him: Jackie Nourie and Bobby Luna.
Mike served his country well and faithfully for 28 years as a Master Chief Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery Alabama. He was an avid golfer and an equally avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Memorial service will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 - 2:00pm, First United Church of Montgomery, 2416 West Cloverdale Park, Montgomery, Alabama 36106 with full military Funeral Honors. Visitation will at 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Church of Montgomery, the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital of Memphis, Tennessee, the Alabama Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice.
