Melanie H Myers

Melanie Lynn Haynie Myers was born on October 29, 1972 in Tallassee, AL and passed away peacefully with her family and close work family surrounding her on October 6, 2021. Melanie was raised in small town Eclectic where she graduated high school from Elmore County High. She went to college at Troy State University where she graduated with honors with an Associates of Science in Nursing. This was her calling. Melanie devoted her life to taking care of others. She had a way of making those close to her feel loved and safe. She loved many and many loved her. Melanie was an avid book reader, loved many animals, and was most excited being a grandmother known as Mimi.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Halloween was one of her favorite times of the year, she shared this especially with her grandchildren.  She has passed on many of her wonderful qualities to her children and grandchildren. 
She is preceded in death by her husband Richard “Greg” Myers, her parents Andrew H. Haynie and Linda W. Donath, as well as Grandparents Hamilton and Earline Haynie and Paul and Pat Woodall. 
She is survived by her daughters Sommer Miracle Smith (Nick), Emerald Skye Patterson (Walker), Autumn Raine Barnette, and son Micah Caden Myers, Grandchildren Nicholas Jaiden, Daniel Allen, and Delaney Marie, Step Father Daniel R. Donath, step brother Jason Donath, Aunt Fay W. Cleveland (Sam), as well as many loved Co-workers, nieces and nephews, friends and family.
