Max Edwin Lail

Max Lail, 81, of Montgomery, Alabama, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 25, 2024. He was a member of Mountain Hill Baptist Church. Max was preceded in death by his parents, George Earl and Adele Dawson Lail, son Max Keith Lail, and brothers, Huey Presley Lail and Boyce Lail.

He is survived by his wife, Uretta H. Lail, his son Duane Clayton Lail, brother, Marcus Dean Lail (Linda), and sister Melva Lail Roberts. Stepdaughter, Leigh Mays Dickson (Edward). He was known as Paw Paw to his grandchildren: Beth Lail, Mallory Lail, Christy Dickson, Joshua Dickson, Daniel Dickson and to his great grandchildren: Sabi, Shyla and Aerial. Max’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mountain Hill Baptist Church, Lapine, Alabama on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 am. Visitation at 10:30.
