Malik J McDaniel

McDANIEL, Malik J. (26) a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 09, 2023, in a local hospital.  Malik Jamal McDaniel was born in Montgomery, Alabama on September 02, 1996, to the late James McDaniel, Sr. and Valerie McDaniel. He received Christ at an early age and joined Freewill Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Sidney Lanier High School where he graduated in 2014. He is preceded in death by one older sister Sharon Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memories five brothers: Cornelius (Jeanna) McDaniel, Desmond (Lowell) McDaniel-Johnson, Edwin Lamar (Natasha) Whatley, James McDaniel Jr., LaDarrell (Katija) McDaniel, five sisters: Amelia Walker, Ashanti Kiana (Timothy) McDaniel, Jasmine McDaniel, Karmen (Douglas) McDaniel-Riley, Tiffany (Demetrius) McDaniel, ten nieces: Ariel, Candice, Constance, Courtney, Gabrelle, Kquoneysia, Monique, Promise, Tafarah, Tamaya, twelve nephews: Corderius, Cornelius Jr., Darrell, Demetrius Jr., Fred Jr., Fernandez, Quintravis, SaDarrian, Terry, Teuntay, True, Xzavier, special friend Keunna and a host of loving aunts, uncles, other relatives and devoted friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 - 11:00am at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church, 1724 Hill Street, Montgomery, Alabama, 36108, Pastor Quentin Q. Byrd.  Interment will follow at New Center Cemetery, 156 School Spur Road, Hope Hull, Alabama, 36043.
