Leroy "Cool Breeze" Scott

Leroy Scott born on September 02, 1950, in Ramer, Alabama passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026 at the age of 75 surrounded by his cherished family Leroy led a life characterized by kindness, integrity, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones.

Beyond his professional achievements, Leroy Scott was a man of many passions and talents. He especially enjoyed truck driving and fixing cars. Whether he was sharing stories from the road or tuning up a family vehicle, Leroy brought warmth and joy to everything he did.  Beyond his professional achievements, Leroy Scott was a man of many passions and talents. He was the beloved husband of Lonnie p. Scott, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was a true example of devotion, a partnership built on trust, laughter, and unwavering support. Together they created a home filled with warmth, faith, and joy, touching the hearts of everyone blessed to know them.

He is survived by his loving children, who carry his lessons, laughter, and love in their hearts. his children include Tatiana Timmons, Lakita (Kelvin) Timmons Green, Rodrick (Margaret) Brown, Carlos (Dr. Teisha) Brown, Rodoego Patterson, Brittney (Darren) Abrams, and Leroy (Monik) Scott, Jr. he is also remembered by Keyon Timmons and Jacqueline D. Barnes, both deceased, as well as his step‐son Jermaine Scott of Montgomery, AL. He was preceded in death by his brothers Floyd Scott and R.C. Scott, and his sister Gloria Thomas, all of Montgomery, AL. his thirty‐seven grandchildren, along with many great‐grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, brought him endless joy and filled his days with memories he cherished.

Funeral will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 --~ 1:00pm at Westgate Baptist Church, 2510 Westgate Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36108, burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, US Highway 31 South, Hope Hull, Alabama 36043.  Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2026, 8:30am to 6:00pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104
