Leonard Hayden “Butch” Hudson, born April 5, 1949, passed away on April 25, 2024, at age 75 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Austin and Mary Virginia "Jenny," as well as his brother, Darrell Gene “Snap” Hudson. He is survived by his grandchildren Caare Schneider, Melody Benfield and Tanner Davidson, and great-grandchildren Landon, Jackson and Calliope. He was a lifelong softball player, a longtime barber, a Navy veteran, a Mason at Montgomery Lodge No. 11, as well as a member of the Alcazar Shrine. He was loved by many and will be missed in his community.
