Krysta Renee Shaner

Krysta Renee Shaner, born June 24, 1963, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe C. Harrell and Marianne S. Harrell.

Krysta is survived by her brother, Joe C. Harrell Jr.; her daughters, Kristen (Jason) Hagler, Tiffany (Adam) LeGear, and Samantha Shaner; and her beloved grandchildren, Lanie Hagler, Heaven and Dallas LeGear. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Cooper.

Krysta devoted many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse. Her work was a reflection of her compassionate spirit and nurturing heart. She had a natural gift for making others feel comforted and cared for, and cherished her years spent helping others. 

Above all, Krysta loved her family deeply. Being a mother and grandmother brought her immense pride and joy. She treasured her children and grandchildren and created memories that will be cherished forever. She was also a devoted Alabama football fan and never missed an opportunity to cheer on her team.

Krysta will be remembered for her caring nature, her love for her family, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A private family memorial service will be held in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida to honor and celebrate her life.
