Kevin Lee Alford, of Montgomery, Alabama, was born on December 26, 1975, to Cynthia Burdell Alford and Larry Ezra Alford. He passed away on April 19, 2026, in Montgomery.
Lee is survived by his two sons, Braxton Alford and Braden Alford; his father, Larry Alford (Debbie); his brother, Wesley Alford (Katie) and their children, Anna Elise, Eli, and Daniel; and his brother, David Alford (Sherry) and their children, Ethan, Anna Kate, and Luke.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Burdell Alford.
Lee took the greatest pride in his sons, Braxton and Braden, and found immense joy in watching them grow and succeed. He was a devoted uncle who cherished time with his nieces and nephews, always bringing laughter and encouragement into their lives. He shared a close and lasting bond with his brothers, Wesley and David—who affectionately knew him as “Kev”—and loved them deeply. He also held a deep love and respect for his father, Larry. He loved his mother, Cindy, very much, and it brings comfort to know he is reunited with her, something he longed for.
He was a devoted fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, rarely missing a game and often sharing that enthusiasm with family and friends. Most importantly, Lee loved the Lord. Through every season of his life, his faith never wavered. Lee had a larger-than-life personality and the ability to make everyone feel welcomed, without judgment. His loyalty, sense of humor, and love for those closest to him will be remembered by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the University Church of Christ in Montgomery. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
