Kerry Lynn Bazzell

Kerry Lynn "Crash" Brock Bazzell, age 54, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.  Kerry was born on August 4, 1971, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Wayne and Sharon Brock. She graduated from Homestead High School in Ft Wayne, Indiana, in 1990. She later earned a full ride scholarship to Western Kentucky University, where she studied for 3 years.

Throughout her life, Kerry had several different career paths, including working as a technician at Pearl Vision, outside sales, and assisting in special-needs classrooms; however, the work that brought her the greatest joy was teaching therapeutic horseback riding lessons to individuals with special needs. Whether the students were young or old, her eyes always sparkled when she was with them.

Kerry is survived by her husband, Claude O'Neal (Neal) Bazzell II; her daughter, Sydney Brooks and significant other Jake Shiff; her father Wayne Brock; her mother Sharon Brock; her sister-in-law, Stacy Brock; nephews Hayden and Garrett Brock; niece Elizabeth Russell (Brock) and husband Elijah Russell; great nephew Cooper Allan Brock; and great niece Rylynn Sinclair Russell.

She is preceded in death by her brother Jeffrey Allan Brock.

Kerry's extended family includes Vicki Rainbolt, Larry and Theresa Brock, Thomas Langford, Rhonda Gastineau and family, Karla Stark and family,  Tracy and Cindy Kiefling and family, Ed and Debbie Kiefling, Laura Brooks and family, Kathy Johnson and family, Jason Moore, Miranda Thornell, Jonathon Bazzell, Mason Moore, Audrey Bazzell, CarlaLee Livings, Jeff Livings, Sonny and Heather Bazzell, Hailey Mathews, Lora Mathews, and Noah Bazzell plus many more extended family not listed.

A celebration of Kerry's life will be held at Monday, April 06, 2026 at Spirit Walk Ministries,1908 County Rd 107, Prattville, Alabama. Visitation will be at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Pastor Wally Helfinstine of Spirit Walk Ministries, and Pastor Mack Fraley of Alabaster Church of God will officiate. A graveside service will be held afterwards at Greenwood Cemetery, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama.
