John "Butch" Moseley Obituary

MOSELEY, John Norris “Butch”, 66, passed away on September 22, 2024, at his home in Ramer, Alabama.   Butch followed the Moseley family tradition and joined the U.S. Navy right out of high school. Once out of the Navy, he worked various jobs from washing windows on high rise buildings in California to construction work in Alabama.

He was a firearms enthusiast who always had a project gun to work on. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

You knew if Butch liked you, because if he did, he would give you a nickname. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents John and Charlotte Moseley and brother Jeff Moseley. Butch is survived by his brother Rickey Moseley and sister Donna Grant (Jimmy), special family friend Babette Sides, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Church of the Highlands, Montgomery Campus, Taylor Road on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
