Mr. Jimmie Williams, 73, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, April 17, 2022. His loving wife, Awilda Davis Williams, and Hospice of Montgomery were by his side. Mr. Jimmie Williams was born to the late Mr. Calloway and Mrs. Ada Lean Williams in Montgomery, AL on January 10,1949. He was preceded in death by his sister Mendolyn (Menny) Williams, his brother Willie D. Williams, and son Phillip Frazier.
Mr. Williams leaves cherished memories behind to his loving wife Awilda Williams (Montgomery), two daughters Felicia Williams Murchison (Montgomery) and Joy Frazier (Georgia) a son Michael Frazier (Georgia), three grandchildren Cora Murchinson (Georgia), Ramee Butler (Georgia), and Kendale Whiteside (Georgia), four sisters Louise Dabney (Ramer), Carolyn Johnson (Montgomery), Lola Pearl Williams (Montgomery), Virginia Flynn (Montgomery), a brother Johnny Williams (Clanton), two brothers-in-law Jacob Warner (Montgomery), Frank (Mollie) Warner (Montgomery), devoted friends Mr. Joe Barnett, Mr. Chester Mumpfield, Mr. Tony, and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Jimmie dedicated 47 years of service to Crowne Health Care Center of Montgomery, AL.
We, the family, would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Montgomery, Baptist South Medical Center, and a special thank to Ms. Sheila Tolliver for making Jimmie transition of life peaceful. A special thank you for Dr. Darcy Blankenship for the support and love that you had for Jimmie. We knew he was truly thankful that you were his doctor.
