Jerome "Jerry" Amos Belcher

Jerome Amos Belcher, 82, of Pike Road, Alabama, passed away peacefully o n November 01, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Jerry, as he was known by family and friends, was born on January 28, 1943, t o John and Mabel Belcher of Youngstown, Ohio. Jerry resided in Youngstown throughout his high school and college years graduating from Youngstown University in 1967.

His career was spent in sales, where he worked primarily as a Sales Manager, moving throughout the northeastern U.S. After marrying Cindy, whom h e met at a sales convention, he moved down South to Alabama, where he spent the last 23 years of his life.

Jerry served as a Marine in his early days and a Master Gardener in his later life. He was also an avid animal lover with a special affection for rescued Golden Retrievers.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Allen Belcher; his children, Jennifer Austin (Jeff), Jason Belcher (Tammy), Katherine Harris; five grandchildren, his brother Jack, and his sister Barbara. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations t o the Montgomery Humane Society or the Birmingham Adopt-A-Golden Resue.
