Jeremiah Jones

JONES, Jeremiah, age 65, entered eternal rest on March 16, 2025. He was loved by many and a friend to everyone he met. Mr. Jeremiah was born in Montgomery, Alabama on May 16, 1959, to the late Mr. Jessie Lee Jones and Ms. Ethel Williams.

He is preceded in death by two sisters, Rosie Thornton (Samuel "JD" Thornton) and Virginia Williams; one brother, Derrick Williams.

He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and because of that, we can rejoice in his Salvation.

He leaves to cherish his memories, the love of his life and devoted wife, Eleanor "Lisa" Hooks-Jones; five sons, Jeremy (Latasha)Clayton, Jermichael Hooks, Jermaine Hooks, Courtney Hooks, Antonio Hooks; two daughters, Latonya Hooks a n d Robin Hooks; one sister, Ida Mae Jones; twenty-three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives a n d friends who loved him dearly.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025 -3:00pm at Passion of Christ Family Worship Center, 40 Gaylan Court, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.  Burial will follow at Woodley Memorial Garden, 3086 Woodley Road, Montgomery, Alabama, 36116.  Visitation will Saturday, March 22, 2025, 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
