Jennifer Lou Bedsole, 74, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Jennifer was born on January 9, 1952, to the late Andrew William Bedsole and Angeline Florance Bedsole. She was a devoted daughter, a loving mother, and a woman of deep faith whose life reflected kindness, creativity, and quiet strength.
She was a proud graduate of Niceville High School in Florida and went on to build a life marked by hard work and dedication. Jennifer worked as an insurance underwriter, owned and operated a pet store, and later served as a customer relations representative at Montgomery Airport, where she touched the lives of many through her warmth and genuine care for others.
Jennifer found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She loved horseback riding and had a deep devotion to caring for animals, a passion that was evident throughout her life. She expressed her creativity through painting, drawing, stained glass, and quilting. She also found comfort in baking sourdough bread, often sharing her creations with those she loved. Her hands were rarely still, and her heart was always open.
Above all, Jennifer cherished her family. She was a wonderful daughter and a devoted mother whose love will continue to guide those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her children, Andrew Leon Rhye and his spouse, Genus Louise Rhye, and Christopher Mallette; her brother, Alan Bedsole and his spouse, Phillipa Bedsole; and her sister, Shannon Boyd.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew William Bedsole and Angeline Florance Bedsole.
A graveside service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life and the hope we have through faith. While our hearts grieve her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of the Lord. Jennifer Lou Bedsole will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
