Jeannine Lee Kirby Boyer, 91, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on March 28, 2022. She was born on June 13, 1930, to Russell and Virginia Kirby in Aurora, IL.
She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Specifically, she enjoyed making her homemade applesauce and fudge. She also enjoyed a good yard sale, always on the lookout for the next treasure. She never met a stranger wherever she went and always made friends. However, she is probably best known for her quick wit and her ability to remember an endless supply of jokes to tell family and friends (some she even told twice).
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Virginia Kirby, her sister Marlene Faye Tibbs and her daughter, Sharon Boyer Pelt. She is survived by daughters Connie Grier, Bonnie Mainor, and Shirley Cutler (Pete). She has four grandchildren, Holly Moore (David), Christopher Bacchus (Grace), Robbie Pelt (Jessica) and Kimberlee Mainor. Jeannine is survived by nine great-grandchildren, Lexie Moore, Dixon Moore, Preston Bacchus, Liam Bacchus, Layla Pelt, Isaiah Blackston, Rylee Blackston, Kallyn Theeck, and Mabel Theeck.
Celebration of Life will be held at Frazer United Methodist Church Chapel on April 1, 2022; Visitation at 1:00 P.M. and Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. with burial in the Frazer Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Montgomery Humane Society
