James B. Robinson

ROBINSON, James Bertrand of Montgomery and Lake Martin, AL passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, at the age of 84. He is now reunited with his Heavenly Father.

A dedicated employee of CSX Railroad for 44 years, Jim also proudly served six years in the Alabama Army National Guard. He enjoyed automotive pursuits, boating, and dirt biking, and took great pride in maintaining his yard. He spoke fondly of his time at the railroad until his passing.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Gayle Emfinger Robinson, daughters, Lisa Robinson Carnes (Lem) and Donna Robinson Sexton (Dennis); his son, Thomas James (T.J.) Robinson; and his grandsons, Matthew Dodson (Cassidy) and Nicholas Dodson.

A private celebration of his life will be held with family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:
