James served his country with distinction for 20 years in the Air Force, earning the respect of his peers and the gratitude of a nation. His military service shaped the integrity, strength, and quiet resilience he carried throughout his life.
James is survived by his loving wife, Justina McCracken, who stood by his side through every chapter of life. He leaves behind his children, James McCracken and Sheila Thompson.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, James McCracken II, Jon Thompson, and Meagan Vasquez. As well as his beloved great-grandchildren: Barrett and Gracyn McCracken, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
James will be remembered for his steady presence, his gentle sense of humor, and the deep affection he held for his family. His legacy lives on in the generations who were shaped by his example of service, loyalty, and love.
The family will honor his life privately, holding close the memories of a man whose impact will never fade. May he rest in peace.
