James "Jimmy" Cole Davis

   DAVIS, James "Jimmy" Cole a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 in a local hospital.  Visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 - 5pm - 7pm Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services Chapel, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.  He was 74 years old.

   Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Erma Davis and his long-time companion, Sue Nobles.  He is survived by his sons, Guy Davis, Adam Davis and Alan Davis as well as Tammy Nobles Cottingham, Carl Nobles (Amanda) and Devin Nobles (Kaci); his grandchildren, Lauren Cottingham, Garrett Cottingham, Katie Nobles, Madalynn Nobles and Lily Nobles.  He is also survived by his brothers, Eddie Davis (Frances), Buddy Davis and Mike Davis (Peggy).

   Jimmy was a career state employee serving for 32 years at the State of Alabama Department of Finance, Office of Information Technology.  He also worked at Garrett Coliseum assisting with events held there. Prior to his state service Jimmy worked at Rheem Manufacturing for a number of years.  He will be missed terribly by those that had the privilege to know and love him.
