Herman Todd

TODD, Herman a resident of Prattville, Alabama was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2025. He was born on May 15, 1952, in Millbrook, Alabama, to the late Roy and Dora Mae-Todd. He accepted Christ at a young age.

Herman had a lifelong love for fast cars and enjoyed playing softball and baseball. His passion for life, his family, and the things he loved were evident in everything he did. As a true farmer at heart, he took pride in the work he did in agriculture, as he enjoyed driving tractors and being in the open fields.

Herman was one of fourteen children. He is preceded in death by his siblings David Todd, Victoria Butler, Mabline Corbitt, Charlie Todd, Roy Edward Young, and Calvin Todd, as well as two great-grandchildren, Kayson and Kierson Epkins.

He is survived by Trish Todd (former spouse), with whom he shared two children, Termaine (Kornika) Todd Sr., Ashlon (Alfonzo) Hall, Kenosha Epkins, and Gabriella Compton. Siblings: Robert (Gayle) Todd, Mary (Sylvester) Massey, Howard (Sonya) Todd, Melvin Todd, Tom Ray Todd, Susan Franks, and Rebecca Nolan. Ten grandchildren: Termaine Jr., Brandon, Hynethia, Jamal, Kealsey, Jordan, Madison, Terrance, Jahmaree, and Taylon, and two great-grandchildren: Avery and Kaysen and a host of nieces and nephews.

Herman was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Hardworking, resilient, and full of wisdom, he touched countless lives with his generosity, sense of humor, and gentle spirit. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 ~ 12:00pm at Open Door Christian Faith Church, 2450 Presidents Drive, Montgomery, Alabama 36116.  Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025 ~ 8:30am to 6:00pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
