Gerald H. Thompson, age 98, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, died September 10, 2025. He was born August 2, 1927, in Titus, Elmore County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Elizabeth Oden Ellis. He is survived by two sons, Gerald H. Thompson II of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, and Philip K. Thompson of Montgomery, Alabama; two nephews, Bill Thompson (Mary Kay) of Panama City, Florida, and Mark Thompson (Carol) of Prattville, Alabama; and one niece, Debra Thompson Wilson (Greg) of Santuck, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Gerald Thompson to Wesley Church, 608 East Fairview Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama, or the American Kidney Foundation.
