Gerald Jerome Stokes, 68, of Prattville, AL, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, surrounded by women who love him.

Born on December 25, 1955, in Bessemer, AL, Gerald spent his life pursuing many passions, including fishing, woodworking, and tinkering with technology. He was known for his humor, often pushing boundaries with jokes that only a beloved grandpa could get away with. Gerald’s playful spirit and deep love for his family made every moment with him feel special.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Victoria Lucy; his children, Melissa Stokes, Jacob Stokes, Melissa Vatani, and Michele Wilson; his grandchildren, Amalee Wilson, Kyra Smith, Kian Vatani, Arman Vatani, Ava Vatani, and Josie Pettit; his brother, Billy Stokes; and his mischievous little dog, Weego.

Gerald will be remembered for his humor, his craftsmanship, and the love he had for his family.
