Frances Anna LaPlante

Frances LaPlante, 70, of Prattville, AL, died in Prattville Baptist Hospital on January 17th at 8:27 am, after a very brief illness.
She was born in Niskayuna, NY in 1954 to Russell and Mary Stark, and had 3 brothers. Frances attended Voorheesville Central School in  Voorheesville, NY. She worked at TransWorld Entertainment for 25 years. She loved crochet and games, she also loved talking with her kids and grandkids. She loved puzzles and bingo as well. She loved watching her grandkids play sports and music.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Mary, and is survived by her husband of 47 years, James LaPlante Sr; daughter Anna Sutton; twin sons, James Jr (Amy) and Nicholas (Marcie). Grandchildren;  Emmi Lorie, Austin Sutton, Brendan, Gregory, Emalee, Paul, and Michael.
Frances' longtime friend Georgana Childs LaBombard, was a staple of her everyday life even after moving to Alabama.
Frances will be cremated, and the family is accepting visitors and flowers at their residence, 431 Hallmark Dr Prattville, AL. Visitors are welcome on Saturday, January 25th from 1-5 pm.
