FOSTER, Fannie Mae was born to the late Jim & Lucy Mahone on November 06, 1923 in Pike County, AL. She was the seventh child born to Jim & Lucy Mahone. She confession to Christ at a young age under the leadership of your grandfather David Stringer at Mt. Zion Church Goshen, AL. On July 10, 1937 she married Frank Foster, they was blessed with nine children in this marriage. She worked for the Pickle Factory (Whitfield), Mclendon Furniture, S.R. Marker Furniture and in 1970 she went to work Kimball Furniture. She retired from Kimball Furniture in 1985. After moving to Montgomery she joined Revelation Baptist Church where she remained a member until the Lord call her home.
On Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 3:40pm, the life of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother came to full triumph as she joined the growing number of Loved Ones in the Heaven of Eternal Rest. She proceeds in death by three sons: Johnny Foster, Marion (Catman) Foster and Jeff Foster, two grandsons; Theodore Gradford and Lynwood Shealy, II, six sisters: Gertrude Mitchell, Lucille Wingard, Alassie Coleman, Ethel Madison, Jimmie Mae Hamilton and Oletha Williams; seven brother: Lawrence Wingard, Nick Mahone, Lazarus Mahone, Jacob Mahone, David Mahone, Grant Mahone, Sr. and Brady Jim Mahone, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters: Elease (Eddie) Barnes, Sally Mae (Lynwood) Shealy and Lucy (Howard) Mae Cook; all of Montgomery, AL, Louise (Ben) Bristow of Anderson, Indiana; two son: Willie Frank(Paula) Foster of Los Angeles and James Foster of Lancaster, CA; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-children, two sister-in-laws; Izell Fisher of Birmingham, AL, IV Oliver of Youngblood, AL and host of nieces, nephews and friends.
