Eric D. Thomas

THOMAS, Eric D. a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in a local hospital. Eric was born December 22, 1969, to Robert and Irma J. Thomas. Eric accepted Christ at an early age. He joined Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in his youth. Eric graduated from Jefferson Davis High School and after, he joined the Navy. After his service, he worked offshore for many years before returning home. In his personal time, he enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Eric is survived by his daughter, Aresha Thomas, mother, Irma Thomas, sister, Kisha (Alvin) Thomas-Burton, brother, Kenneth Thomas, grandchildren, Zachery Thomas and Alexis Gaskin, aunts, Bertha Hilson (Pensacola, FL), Bernice Jackson (Pike Rd), Annie Williams, Emma Stevenson, and Geraldine Bruney (Montgomery), Janet Wells (TN), Dorothy Davis (Marion, IN), uncle Walter Davis (Marion, IN) and a host more of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Graveside service will we be held Saturday, February 07, 2026, ~ 1:00pm at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 9405 US Highway 331 South, Montgomery, Alabama 36105.  The Repast will follow the service at Resurrection Missionary Baptist Church, 2468 Hickman St Montgomery, AL 36108
