Elease F (Foster) Barnes

BARNES, Elease Foster a resident of Montgomery, Alabama and a former resident of Los Angeles, CA passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in a local rehab facility.  Graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 08, 2021 - 1:00pm, Macedonia AMC Church, 1487 County Road 1135, Goshen, Alabama, 36035.

BARNES, Elease Fosters was born on January 01, 1939 in Goshen, Alabama to the later Frank Foster and Fannie Mae Mahone she was the first child born to this marriage.

     Elease was nurtured and school in the Montgomery County School System.  She migrated from Montgomery, Alabama to Los Angeles, CA where she work as an electrical engineer.  God blessed Elease with five children- Theresa, Carl, Yolanda, Theodore and Sheria.  In 2004 she return to Montgomery, Alabama and called it home again.

     Elease was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Barnes, one daughter; Theresa Solomon, one son; Theodore “Jerome” Gradford,  father; Frank Foster; mother; Fannie Mae Mahone Foster, two sister; Louise Terry and Fannie B. Foster, four brothers; Johnny, Willie, Jeff and Marion “Catman” Foster.

     She leaves to cherish her memory one son; Carl Gradford of Los Angele, CA., two daughters; Yolanda (Eric) Hinkson and Sheria Vaughn both of Montgomery, Alabama, one brother; James Foster and two sisters; Lucy Mae Cook and Sallie Mae Shealy both of Montgomery, Alabama, seven grandsons, three granddaughters, six great grandsons, 16 great-granddaughters, three great-great grandsons, one great-great-great granddaughter an a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, a special friend she called her son Mr. Roberts.
