Donald Ledbetter, age 74, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at First Baptist Church Eclectic with Dr. Britt Green officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Donald was born on January 28, 1949. He was raised in Kent and graduated from Elmore County High School in 1967. Donald was a resident of Elmore County and member of First Baptist Church of Eclectic where he served as a deacon for many countless years.
He is survived by Jo Ann Hough Ledbetter, his wife of 55 years; his two daughters, Dondra Ledbetter Houlditch (Kevin) and Angela Ledbetter Leonard (Rinard); grandchildren, Katelyn Leonard Williams (Jacob), Michael Houlditch and Brewer Houlditch; great granddaughter Jade Williams; siblings, Carol Ledbetter Roberts (Joe) and Ronald Ledbetter (Linda), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brewer and Voncile Smith Ledbetter of Kent, Alabama; brother James Ledbetter of Largo, Florida, and grandson Aubry Houlditch of Montgomery, Alabama.
