Debra Lee Watson

WATSON, Debra (Debbie)Lee a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 24th, 2025 with her loved ones by her side. Born in Chester, PA June 18th, 1955. Debbie is retired Military after completing 20yrs of service in the Air Force. Her biggest hobbies included arts and crafts, puzzles, and anything that involved her grandkids. Loved watching her Philadelphia Eagles.

If you ever needed somewhere warm and safe to stay, a hot meal, a ride and a nice laugh her home was the house to be at. Mom met no stranger and loved everyone. The grandkids kept her young and motivated each and everyday “Mom-Mom”, they were her everything pride and joy. Her grandchildren never did anything wrong, she always would  say “dang leave them alone they’re kids”.

Preceded in death by her parents Doris Burns & Jimmy burns and brother Jeff.

Survived by her children: Josh (Kyla) Watson, Ryan Blackston and Courtney Watson. Siblings: Billy (Kathy) Burns, Keith (Sue) Burns, Brian Burns (Lori), Suzanne Watkins (Dave) and her baby sister Tracy (John) Stefchak. Her special niece Brittany (Burns) Roberts along and 19 other wonderful nieces and nephews and extended family.

Psalm 23: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
