HOOKS, Charles E. a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 in a local hospital. Charles E. Hooks was born to Godly parents Millet and Rebecca Hooks who loved him and nurtured, and taught him in the ways of God. At a early age Charles was baptized into the Body of Christ at the Coosada Road Church of Christ. We are not to judge the inner secrets of any man’s heart. We know not what emotions stir man’s soul nor what secret communion he might have with God.
However, we know this: Our God is a great loving God who never makes a mistake, He looks upon the heart, and always does that which is right and best. So, with confidence we leave our loved one in the hands of a merciful Heavenly Father, know that God’s way is the best way, and His thought are far above ours.
Mr. Charles E. Hooks was born August 10, 1956 to the late Millet and Rebecca Hooks in Montgomery, AL. Charles departed this life November 21, 2024 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew Hooks, Dr. Richard Hooks, Sr., Leonard Hooks, Sr. and Melvin Hooks. He was educated in the Montgomery Public Schools.
Cherishing his memories sister-in-law, Zenorbia Hooks, Montgomery, AL; two nephews, Richard Hooks, II, Anniston, AL and Leonard Hooks, Jr., Montgomery, AL; four nieces, LaTonia (Lonnie)Russell, Montgomery, AL, Dr. LaKeta (Roger) Monhollen, Anniston, AL, Dionne (Tonikos)Vandiber, Oxford, AL and Michelle Williams, Columbus, GA; and several great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, December 08, 2024 - 3:00pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Service chapel, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
