Charles Edward Alford

Charles Edward Alford a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in a local hospital. Charles was born on April 08, 1941, in Clay County, Alabama to Edward Lamar Alford and Margaret Jane Reeves Alford.  He was married to Barbara Ann Neese of Selma, Alabama on December 24, 1961 at Park Street Methodist Church, Troy, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara Alford, and brothers, John Paul (Judy) Alford, Olive Branch, MS, and David Alford, Wetumpka, AL.  He was a member of Frazer Methodist Church and the Pathfinders Sunday School Class. Charles spent his adult working life in the automotive parts business working for Rogers Auto Supply, Alexander City, Alabama; Standard Auto Parts, Montgomery; Parts Service Company, Montgomery; and NAPA Auto Parts, Montgomery. He was very proud of his ASE certification and training.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024 - 2:00pm at Frazier Church, 6000 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36104, Visitation will one hour prior to service.
